08AMA!! [04 Nov 2008|10:51pm]
It's remarkable to me how people can say "I'm moving to Canada!" and probably don't know jack shit about Canada's government. But what the hey, half of them I think are, to put it lightly, dumb as bricks. They wouldn't be happy in any country, because no other country would allow them to have as many luxuries as they do, and they make it pretty clear they want to be as rich as possible.

Support your country, have a little respect.

"patty's fuckin' with me." [06 Oct 2008|08:57pm]
I just realized this past weekend that everything I've ever done in my life has all been for the best.

It's a lovely feeling.

we had our last day of senior year and i only have one thing to say:

what. the. fuck.

Last day of school we went on the transit station (3 years in a row, yeahhhh!) and Stefan's garage and TGI Fridays and Matt's basement (for good old times sake, right?) and finally Sex and the City midnight movie. Last night we had a barn party/mud wrestling tournament. Today is grad parties all day with Matty.
This summer is going to be awesome.

fifteen and a half days left of high school, how sick is that? ooooh man.

California was awesome (five dolla's, backflips, pandas, roller coasters, etc), prom was sweet, and now we're just winding down...

peace.

spring break, sucka. [29 Mar 2008|03:24am]
This spring break we:
- Figured out how to properly eat/drink real coconuts
- Went to an Indian restaurant.
- Played virtual poker and slots at Mystic Lake Casino.
- Biked 8 miles.
- Bought a mouse.
- Became legal.
- Made a giant lego pyramid/lego cube.
- Baked a homemade pizza.
- Baked several frozen pizzas.
- Partied, spring break style.

...Well it's been interesting, to say the least :)

I'm so done with school. Every morning I wake up and put off getting out of bed while just getting angrier and angrier at even the thought of entering the building. Honestly, I love the kids, but oh my god it's not even worth it anymore.

I just wanna leavveeeee.

But aside from all that, socially, etc, life couldn't be better.
I'm going to Iowa this weekend to visit my sister at college, cool.

[21 Jan 2008|05:50pm]
well it's been a long/too short four day weekend. I dread school tomorrow. I really do. I don't know, this weekend has just been one extraordinary routine.

We started with a midnight showing of Cloverfield, and I was just so pleased how an entire theater can be filled just by curiosity and hype considering the fact nobody in the theater even knew what the movie was remotely about. Just a monster. But it was good, and it made me sick, and I had to shut my eyes to keep from throwing up. My heart was beating and I was still shaking even as I crawled into bed around 3. And it was all adrenaline, intensity, and motion sickness. Yes.

The next day I met everyone at the Original Pancake House for breakfast at 10, and most of us were tired as hell from having watched Cloverfield. But we had pancakes and went to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Ali ran a red light on the way home and almost killed me and Maria, which, you know, that's cool. We ended up that night sitting in the spa until I could no longer breathe from the heat, then we ran outside and literally started steaming from the hot-cold change, and then went hot tubbing until we settled down to watch a movie.

The rest of the weekend was eating out (Thai, Chili's, Indian!), Super Smash Bro's, and the Bourne trilogy at Nathan's house. That happened over the past three days. Every night at Nathan's. It was awesome. And cold. I hate Minnesota. But I love how relaxing yet full this weekend was for me.

I also got my hair cut and foiled, and I like it.

yay [20 Dec 2007|11:32pm]
I'm so excited for winter break tomorrow, because school has pretty much been beating me to a pulp. I mean don't get me wrong, it's not hard. it's wayyyyy not hard. ...like i might as well not even show up because every class period is the least productive use of my time possible not hard.

I'm so done with this place, even though i know there are so many good things yet to come out of senior year. but college is going to be so much better. I've gotta believe that. I do.

but until then... winter break!

everyone confuses me and everything is all good.

I WILL comment on Across the Universe. It made me want to not live in America, so I think I'll get right on that. It was pretty good but wasn't as good as I'd thought it'd be. It was very cliche abstract, eh. Still, I'd see it again probably. Maybe on drugs...

Yeah, that.

It's a beautiful day out, and its making me feel great. I'm feeling young and invincible and it's awesome. I'm going to go do my calculus homework outside, and maybe it won't be so lame then. Then maybe i'll read a book. Tonights a bonfire night, a bdubs night, a sleepover night, and everything a weekend should be.

The football game yesterday was fun and cold. We won. Hands down, the ride there and back was the best part. 12 people sitting on a mattress in a van and shag all around. 45 minutes of awkward positions and gossipy talk.

The boy-girl TP war is on,
and it feels so nice to be doing something so innocent and fun[ny].

I don't know what's wrong with me, but i'm going to savor every moment of it.

[03 Sep 2007|08:38pm]
Well summers over, tomorrow we enter high school one. last. time. Whatever, schools lame but there's always little things to get excited about. Like our last first day ever. Like being seniors. Like tug of war and football games and pep fests. Like seeing the kids you love day after day for a year before we'll part ways and find out which ones left long impressions, and which ones will fade away. For one last year, we're all together, so whatever, might as well make it count, right? That's what I'm hoping anyways.

Yesterday night was fucked up and funny the way only alcohol can make happen. Good way to end with a bang. ..Or kind of a trip trip stumble thud. But still. In retrospect, i think this has been the best summer of my life (so far). Maybe it's just nostalgia talking, but i don't think that makes a difference. fuck yeah.

Cheers to that, and cheers to you all. See you in school.
